My body was always tense.
The smallest things would make me snap or shut down completely.
And no amount of mindset work, meditation, or journaling touched it.
I didn’t need another productivity hack.
I needed to feel safe inside my own body.
That realization cracked something open.
I stopped asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
And started asking, “What happened to me?”
That’s when I found the world of nervous system healing.
Somatic work.
Trauma recovery.
Real, slow, cellular shifts.
It wasn’t pretty.
I had to unlearn years of performing calm while secretly spiraling.
I had to stop abandoning myself every time things got hard.
At first, everything felt worse, like waking up with pins and needles after years of numbness.
But I kept going. Breath by breath.
Moment by moment.
The shift wasn’t dramatic. It was deep.
One day, I noticed I didn’t freeze in that hard conversation.
Another day, I took a full breath, for the first time in years.
And slowly, I stopped living in reaction.
I started living in choice.
I don’t believe in fixing broken people.
I believe in helping brilliant, sensitive souls remember they were never broken to begin with.
Only dysregulated.
Only taught to disconnect.
And fully capable of coming home to themselves.
That’s what this space is for.
